摘 要:本文通过对世界上几所著名工科院校 (专业 )培养目标、课程设置和学时比例的比较分析 ,结合我国高等工科教育的现状 ,对我国高等工科教育中人文社科课程的课程门类和学时比例提出了具体意见。In the process of reforming higher engineering education in China, extensive attention has been paid to quality education, and the issue of the humanistic accomplishments of engineering students has become a highlight. Few suggestions, however, have been offered as to what courses of humanities and social sciences be included in the education of engineering students. And little effort has been made to suggest what percentage humanities and social science course be appropriate to meet the degree requirements for engineering students. By means of comparison and analysis, and based on the study of school curricula of some well-known technological and engineering institutions in the world, this paper comes to a conclusion that a wider coverage of humanities and social science courses as well as a course-load of 20% of such course in terms of class hours are both necessary and important for the maintenance of professional standards and quality in engineering education in China.
