摘　　要：由湖北职院组成的旅游与饭店管理专业建设考察组一行4人,赴南京、上海、天津、北京等地,就市场需求、专业建设、教学改革等问题,实地考察了3所大专院校,10家4星级以上酒店,1家涉外培训中心,基本弄清了旅游与饭店专业的人才需求、人才培养规格、专业建设方向、教学改革重点等问题,结合该院实际,基本理清了下一步工作思路。In order to better understand the market demand, curriculum construction and teaching reform for the tourism and hospitality education, a field study task group (consisting of the 4 members from Hubei Vocational-Technical College) went to Nanjing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Beijing to visit and meet with administrators and managers in 3 tourism colleges, 10 upscale star hotels and one international hospitality training center. Through the visits and meetings with experts in the hospitality industry, the group has a better knowledge of the market demand, the human resources training standards, curriculum construction trends, and teaching reform for the tourism and hospitality education. This field study report outlines a general roadmap for the near future tasks combined with the practical situation of our school.
