摘　　要：地名蕴含丰富的自然与社会人文信息.为使译文符合“信、达、雅”标准,地名翻译应尽可能采用意译.同时还应考虑东西方文化的差异,适当对源语名称的所指述行重新命名.Different places possess with different culture. In order to meet with the need of translation standard- faithfulness, smoothness, elegance, free translation is adopted in the most of time. Furthermore, some original names should be renamed because of the diferences between the eastern and western culture.
