摘　　要：从西部地区图书馆员继续教育中存在的盲点与困难、实施继续教育的措施及继续教育的内容和途径等方面论述了继续教育是馆员提高专业技能、改善知识结构、应对西部大开发带来的机遇和挑战的重要途径。From the blindspots and difficulties, measures, contents and channels of the continuous education of librarians in western regions, this paper discusses on that the continuous education is an important way of the librarians to increase their specialized skills, improve their knowledge structure and deal with the chances and challenges brought about by the western development.
