汉语词汇发展中的词形延长——从双音节到三音节的考察

摘　　要：从单音节词为主发展到双音节词为主 ,以至多音节词大量出现 ,这是汉语词汇发展的大势。从双音节词延长为三音节词 ,表现出汉语词汇派生结构的若干共性和特殊性。但词汇形式的延长并不一定是为了表达更复杂语义的需要。在此发展大势下形成的词汇音节语感 ,也驱动着词汇形式延长 ,因而出现了不少同义延长现象。同义延长所增加的形式有后缀、词根和音节重叠。但三字成语并不以双音节词为基础增加语素复合成义 ,而以典源寓意为基础。In Chinese vocabulary development, there is a basic tendency that words with single syllable developed into words with 2 syllables and even those words with more syllables have appeared in great amount. Looking into the words developed from 2 syllables to 3 syllables, we found some common features and specific ones of derivative word-formations. However, the extension did not aim at expressing more complicated meanings. A feeling of t 3 syllable words risen in the tendency played a role and forced the trend going on. Therefore, synonymously lexical extension appeared in the development. The forms added in extension are suffixes, stems, or duplicated syllables. But idioms composed with 3 syllables were not developed from 2 syllable words by adding an extra morpheme, instead, they based on certain original meanings drawn from source texts.
