摘 要:穆时英的现代都市小说营造了丰富的意象,并形成多个意象系列,包括颓废女人意象、孤独丑角意象和喧哗都市意象,这些意象所体现出的思想理念,既表现了现代都市的喧哗,又揭示了都市人的孤独与颓废,从而与西方19世纪末的文学思潮"战栗和肉的沉醉"及"忧郁的末日感"相契合,达到了一种文化精神上的同构。穆时英是一个具备了都市的灵魂、都市的感觉、以及都市的表现技巧的现代都市作家。中国现代都市文学是由穆时英开始走向成熟的。In his modern city novels, Mu Shiying created abundant images and formed his own imagery series including decadent women, lonely clowns and tumultuary cities. The ideological notions presented by these images show modern cities' tumult and the residents' loneliness and decadence. They correspond with the western literary trend of 'shudder and intoxication in flesh' and 'melancholy sense of doomsday'at the end of the 19th century, and have achieved a cultural co-construction. It is from Mu Shiying, a modern city novelist who had soul and sense of city and city descriptive techniques leading to the maturity to Chinese modern city literature.
