摘　　要：高职院校要生存并能持续地得以发展 ,就必须与时俱进 ,适应市场需求 ,深化教学改革 ,发挥优势 ,创造出自己的办学特色 ,提高教育质量。实践证明 ,特色就是生命 ,特色就是质量。高职院校只要立足自我 ,跟随市场 ,用新的办学理念去追求和指导形成特色 ,并勇于创新 ,创出特色 ,就能在激烈的竞争中立于不败之地。It is essential for high vocational schools to advance with the time , to suit the needs of the market economy and to deepen the teaching reform , if they want to live and develop sustainably , so as to give full play to their superiorities , to create their own characteristics of running schools and to improve the educational quality . It is proved by practice that characteristic is life and quality . High vocational schools , basing themselves upon their own , following the market , will never be defeated in the fierce competition as long as they seek and direct to form characteristics by using new ideals of running schools and are brave in blazing new trials to create characteristics.
