论司马迁、班固的“实录”精神

摘　　要：随着汉朝专制统治的加强,社会上“为尊者讳”之风渐兴,使得司马迁、班固著史的“实录”精神存有一定差异。本文通过比较马、班两人记载高祖、惠帝、武帝、元帝等西汉尊者的不同笔法,指出司马迁敢于逆批龙鳞,针砭当世;而班固在《汉书》中为西汉尊者隐恶扬善的心情表现得比较明显,他在著史的“实录”精神上逊色于司马迁。With the consolidation of autocratic system of the Han Dynasty,there was a growing trend in society to avoid as taboo and conceal the mistakes of the honorable.Thereby,Ban Gu's spirit of veritable recording differed from Sima Qian's to some extent.By compar- ing their writing styles of recording rulers of the Han Dynasty such as Gao Zu、Hui Di、Wu Di、Yuan Di、the author concludes that Sima Qian is bold in condemning the contemporary rulers,while Ban Gu subconsciously tends to cover rulers'shortcomings and spread their merits,which implies that Ban Gu is inferior to Sima Qian in their spirit of veritable recording.
