摘　　要：Fish oils are rich in ω3 polyunsatarated fatty acids, of which DHA, EPA show very strong spermicidal activity. Marrhuic acid and its sodium salt consist mainly of polyunsatarated fatty acids, especially DHA and EPA. They form effective and safe spermicides, lts low cost, rich source and ready access make marrhuic acid and its sodium salt a promising spermicide.
