摘　　要：在大学英语教学中综合运用一些行之有效的方法,对培养与提高学生的英语写作能力大有裨益。对英语水平不同的学生,写作要求应该有所区别,以鼓励、激励学生积极地写作。通过应用这些方法和学生的勤写多练,学生的英语写作能力与水平得到了显著提高。This paper introduces how the author comprehensively applies several approaches to enable non- English majors to improve their writing competence remarkably. The students are greatly interested in the approaches and show high enthusiasm in their writing practice. Some of the approaches are beneficial for developing students' creative thinking.With the author's application of the approaches and the students' persistent effort,students' writing competence has been greatly improved.
