摘　　要：回顾了英语在传播过程中的文化侵略现象 ,指出旧的单一语言和单一文化观念不仅扼制了世界文化的多样性 ,也违背了英语作为国际语言的自然发展规律和发展要求。随着新英语的崛起 ,英语语言成为多元文化的载体 。A review is made of the cultural invasions of the English language in the course of diffusion.It is argued that the old monolingual and monocultual concepts have not only denied cultural diversity but also violated the natural laws and demands for the development of English as an international language.With the emergence of the mew English,the English language has become a carrier of multiculture,which requires the English learners and educators in China to reassess their own role.
