摘　　要：抗击非典,中华民族充分弘扬了团结统一、科学民主、改革开放、爱好和平和自强不息等民族精神。我们的民族精神,其文化传统深厚,其时代主题鲜明,可谓源远流长,博大精深。秉承民族精神,中华民族不仅最终战胜非典,而且能够战胜任何艰难困苦,达到全面建设小康社会的目标,彻底实现中华民族的伟大复兴。In fighting the SARS, the Chinese nation has carried forward the national spirit featuring unity and solidarity, science and democracy, reform and opening up to the outside world, love of peace and ceaseless self-improvement. Our national spirit, with its time-honoured cultural tradition and striking theme of the times, is both extensive and profound, which can trace its history back to ancient times. To promote and cultivate the national spirit, the Chinese nation can not only win the battle against the SARS but also conquer any difficulties and hardships, so as to attain the objective of building a well-off society in an all-round way and realize the great national rejuvenation.
