谈英美文学名著汉译中的多书名问题

摘　　要：本文从分析马克*吐温的<哈克贝利*费恩历险记>汉译书名着手,论述英美文学名著重译多书名与译者、出版社等关系,并指出译者、出版编辑及有关部门如何避免译本多书名现象,还论及译本多书名对图书馆各部门带来的负面影响以及图书馆工作人员应该如何在译本多书名情况下做好采购、分编、流通、检索工作.By presenting the different Chinese versions of Mark Twin's ' The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn', the author analyzes the phenomenon of multi - translations of the same titles of some English and American literary works. Then the author suggests some methods which translators, publish houses and some departments concerned should take to avoid multi - translations of the same book titles, since it can cause negative effects on library work. Finally, the author points out that librarians should know how to do well in the process of purchasing, selecting and editing, circulating and retrieving of library books.
