从《阿Q正传》看引语形式的汉英转换策略

摘　　要：小说中人物话语的表达方式受到了叙述学和文体学领域学者的关注 ,他们已对各种引语形式的表达功能进行了比较深入的研究。然而 ,汉语的语言特点及中文小说发展的自身特点使中文小说人物话语的表达方式与西方小说有所不同。从《阿Q正传》及其英译本的对比研究出发 ,描述这些引语形式在汉英翻译中的转换方式及控制这些转换的主要因素。Researchers and experts from both narratology and stylistics have done much work in differentiating the functions of various modes of speech presentation in fictions. However, as Chinese and Chinese fictions have their own peculiarities, the modes of speech presentation are different from those in western fictions. This paper attempts to describe the relevant factors to determine the strategies in the transfer of the modes of speech presentation from Chinese into English based upon the contrastive study of The True Story of Ah Q and its English version.
