摘　　要：考试是教学过程中的一个重要环节 ,是检测、评价教师的教学质量和学生学习效果的基本手段。加强考试管理与研究是建立良好学风 ,促进教风建设 ,提高教育教学质量的重要保证。通过对考试功能的论述 ,以引起高校对考试工作的重视 。Examinations and texts are important parts of the teaching and learning process.They are basic means of testing and evaluating teachers' teaching quality and students' studying effect.Enhancing the regulation and study of tests is the key guarantee in promoting the teaching and learning atmosphere and giving a rise to the teaching quality.By means of illustrating Functions of the Examinations,this paper expects the higher learning institutions can give further emphasis on examination work and therefore enable the examinations to play their proper role of increasing the education quality.
