摘 要:本文旨在通过演示,使没有系统学过教育统计学的外语研究者和广大外语教师能够借助SPSS对日常考试试卷进行必要的分析。重点介绍SPSS在项目分析和试卷整体定量统计分析中的应用。包括原始数据的输入、项目难度、项目区分度以及试卷信度内容,以消除外语研究者及广大外语教师对于试卷定量分析的神秘感和恐惧感,从而使我们的学校考试或者课堂考试更科学,更好地服务于外语教学,最终大面积地提高我国的外语教学质量和效率。This paper demonstrates to the foreign language researchers and teachers how they,who have had no systematic training in educational statistics,can analyze their classroom or school-based tests with SPSS. A step-by-step approach is taken,starting from variable definition,inputting data,analysis to understanding the result. Our focus is on the interpretation of SPSS printout concerning item difficulty and item discrimination. Our aim is to demystify quantitative item and test analysis for humanistic-minded foreign language teachers so as to make it possible for them to make classroom test and school-based test more scientific and better serve foreign language education. Ultimately,the quality and efficiency of foreign language teaching in China will be improved.
