摘　　要：造成台独产生和发展的原因是多方面的。日本的殖民统治和奴化教育、美国对台湾所抱有战略野心、国民党的高压统治及反共宣传、李登辉的独台政策等是主要原因。其中美日的支持是台独的真正根源。There are various reasons leading to the coming into being and development of Taiwan Independence. However, the main causes are the following ones: the Japanese colonial rule and enslaving education, the strategic ambition of the U.S. toward Taiwan, the Kuomintang's highhanded rule and its antiCommunist propaganda, and Li Denghui's policies to make Taiwan an independent state. Most of all, the support from the United States and Japan is the fundamental cause of the phenomenon.
