译论研究的一种尝试——翻译适应选择论的实证调查

摘　　要：通过调查译界同行对若干译文的评价来验证某种翻译理论解释力和可操作性的实证研究，目前尚未见有人成功地设计出有用而又可靠的检测方法。作为翻译理论研究的一种尝试，本文对所构建的“翻译适应选择论”进行了实地的调查，以期能从与一般的演绎论证、描述例证等有所不同的方法，对翻译适应选择论的有效性做出某种程度的检验和证实。本文报告了这项试验性的调查，包括问卷设计、调查对象、调查方法、结果分析以及存在的局限和调查结论等。No generally-accepted and successful case study has been yet reported to evaluate the explanation power and operationality of a translation theory. As a kind of experiment, this paper will report an empirical study on the assessment of the‘Approach to Translation as Adaptation and Selection’through questionnaire surveys, which differs from the conventional practice of theoretical inference, description, discussion, exemplification, and the like. Reported in this paper are the questionnaire design, investigation subjects, methods, data analysis, limitations and conclusive statements.
