摘　　要：随着国际间的交流日趋频繁,公众对口译质量的期望越来越高,要求也越来越严格。然而,评估手段却远远不能回应社会的需要。究其原因,还是相关研究太过滞后。那么,几十年来学者们的研究获得了些什么成果,到底我们现在面临的是怎样的研究现状?怎样才能在前人研究的基础上找到新的出路?为了回答这些问题,本文对20世纪80年代至今的中西方口译质量评估研究作一历史性回顾。Cross-cultural communication ever increases and imposes higher demands on interpreters. However, interpreting performance evaluation is far from satisfactory. The reason is that in this field theory lags behind practice. What achievements have been made so far? What is the status quo of the relevant researches? How can we find a way to meet our needs? In order to answer these questions, this paper intends to undertake a necessary review of the interpreting performance evaluation studies in both China and the West since 1980.
