The historical fact goes that, as Confucius lamented that his Dao (Tao) could not be implemented, he aspired to go to sea on board of a ship, to put his Dao (Tao)into practice in the gentlemen-inhabited Jiu Yi. “Jiu Yi', however, is a general reference, indicating the Shandong district, which was regarded as the cradle and base camp of the primitive aborigines inhabited in there. With the multiplication and migration of those aborigines, they spread over the whole eastern coast of China, and Korea and the Japanese archipelago overseas. And as their lineages are various, so Confucius failed to point out the exact place he wanted to go to. When he arrived, there were no integrated Jiu Yi countries in Shandong and along the Chinas eastern coast to be found. Only Kija Choseon considered as a Jiu Yi country was yet in prosperity, with a community of gentlemen civilized in benevolence and justice. Lord of Chi(Ki), the earliest ancestor of Kija Choseon and Lord of Wei, one of Confucius' ancestors, both offsprings of the royal family of the Yin Dynasty, were called [together with Bi Gan (Pi Kan)]by Confucius “the three Good men'. Considering geographical distances, transportations, and tribal relations, Jiu Yi, where Confucius planned to go to, implies actually the then Kija Choseon.
