摘　　要：教育优先发展是唐山实现走在全省最前列目标的基础和前提。根据唐山教育现状,采用统计、比较等方法,对改革开放以来,唐山教育取得的显著成绩和不容忽视和回避的问题进行了分析,探讨了教育优先发展的一系列政策和问题。Education should be developed preferentially in Tangshan because it is essential and fundamental to realise the goal that Tangshan ranks frist in Hebei Province.According to the present situation of education in Tangshan,the paper analyses remarkable achievements that have been made in Tangshan education and some problems which can't be ignored and avoided after the reform and opening-up using such methods as statistics and comparison.And a series of policies and problems on the preferential development of education are also discussed.
