摘　　要：古生物化石是重要的地质遗迹,是地球历史的见证,是宝贵的、不可再生的自然遗产,是研究生物起源和进化等的科学依据。古生物化石在科学教育中的作用十分重要,在为自然科学研究提供证据的同时,还提高了全民科学素质和生态文明意识,为国家培养科技人才后备力量打下基础。Fossils are important geological sites, the witness of earth history, the precious and non-renewable natural heritage, and scientific basis of the biological origin and evolution. Fossils play a very important role in science educa- tion: Provide evidence for the natural sciences;In the meantime, improve scientific quality and ecology awareness of public and lay the foundation for the cultivation of scientific and technological talents reserve forces.
