关联理论视域下话语标记语“yeah”的语用功能分析——以戏剧《去布法罗——一个悲剧幻想》为例

摘　　要：话语标记语是言语交际过程中十分常见的语言现象,对理解话语起引导制约作用。这篇文章立足于语言学家Sperber &Wilson提出的关联理论,以《去布法罗——一个悲剧幻想》为研究对象,从认知–语用角度对话语标记语“Yeah”的语用功能进行尝试性分析和探究。运用定性和定量相结合的研究方法,归纳借鉴前人关联视角下话语标记语相关研究成果,并利用语料库工具Wordsmith中的词频统计及语境共现功能,得出话语标记语“Yeah”在戏剧中主要语用功能有四:一是作为话语回答语;二是表达情感态度;三是起话题连接作用;四是起话题转移作用。Discourse markers are common linguistic phenomenon in the process of speech communication, which plays the role of restricting or guiding the understanding of discourse. Based on the Relev-ance Theory proposed by Sperber &Wilson, this paper attempts to analyze and explore the prag-matic functions of the discourse marker “Yeah” in Goin’a Buffalo—A Tragifantasy from a cognitive pragmatic perspective. With the combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, this paper sums up relevant research results of discourse markers from the perspective of relevance, and uses the Word List and Concordance function of the corpus tool Wordsmith. It concludes that the discourse marker “Yeah” has four main pragmatic functions in this drama. Firstly, it could be used to express emotional attitude;secondly, it plays the role of topic connection and topic transfer respectively;furthermore, it also serves as a discourse reply.
