数字化学习背景下中国高校英语学习者语言学习策略类型与学习效果研究  

A Study on the Types of Language Learning Strategies and Learning Effectiveness of English Learners in Chinese Universities in the Context of Digital Learning

摘  要:本文采用自编数字化学习背景下中国高校英语学习者语言学习策略量表对178名学生进行调查,并通过以个体为中心的类别分析方法对高校英语学习者语言策略类型进行探索。研究表明,由于语言学习策略的选择不同,中国高校英语学习者形成了特征差异显著的3类群体,分别为“全方位–深层策略型”、“低情感–浅层策略型”和“高交际–中度策略型”,学习者语言学习策略的应用情况与其语言学习效果有着密切的联系。据此,笔者就高校英语学习者如何通过改善自身语言学习策略应用情况提升英语学习效果提出四点建议。In this paper, 178 students were surveyed using a self-administered language learning strategy inventory for English learners in Chinese universities in the context of digital learning, and an individual-centered category analysis was conducted to explore the types of language strategies of English learners in Chinese universities. The study showed that due to the different choices of language learning strategies, English learners in Chinese universities formed three groups with significantly different characteristics. The three groups are named as “all-round-deep strategy type”, “low affective-shallow strategy type”, and “high communicative-medium strategy type”. Language learning effectiveness is closely related to how learners use language learning strategies. Accordingly, the author proposes four suggestions on how English learners in Chinese universities can improve their English learning effectiveness by improving the application of their own language learning strategies.
