摘　　要：我国著名人文经济地理学家毛汉英先生所著的《区域发展与区域规划研究》已于2022年6月正式出版。本书共分为“区域发展与区域规划的理论方法与实践”“国外区域与城市发展研究”“我的科研生涯回顾”三篇,收录了毛汉英先生2008~2020年期间发表的代表性学术论文、讲稿及咨询报告,纵观全书,具有三个显著特征:第一,理论结合实践,实用价值强;第二,紧跟时代步伐,以国家的需求为导向,与时俱进地为地方区域发展出谋划策;第三,爱国热情贯穿其中,用一生的实际行动回报党和国家的殷切期望。全书视野开阔,时代特征鲜明,理论与实践的结合性强,对推动地理学科发展和培养青年地理科技人才就具有参考价值和借鉴作用。The Research on Regional Development and Regional Planning, written by Mao Hanying, a famous human economic geographer in China, has been officially published in June 2022. This book is di-vided into three parts: “Theoretical Methods and Practice of Regional Development and Regional Planning” “Research on Regional and Urban Development Abroad” and “A Review of My Scientific Research Career”. It includes representative academic papers, lectures, and consulting reports published by Mr. Mao from 2008 to 2020. Throughout the book, it has three significant features: Firstly, combining theory with practice, with strong practical value;secondly, keeping up with the pace of the times, take the needs of the country as the guide, and advance with the times to provide suggestions for local regional development;third, patriotic enthusiasm runs through it, and the ardent expectations of the party and the country are repaid with practical actions of a lifetime. The book has broad vision, distinct characteristics of the times, and strong combination of theory and practice. It is of reference value for promoting the development of geography and training young talents of geography science and technology.
