基于POA理论的大学英语写作个案研究——以“Competition versus Cooperation”主题写作为例

摘  要:本文运用POA理论框架,从驱动、促成和评价三方面开展大学英语写作教学实践:展示了基于这一理论的教学设计和教学流程,同时汇报了通过问卷调查及学生访谈的教学效果。研究发现,该理论指导下的写作教学更能有效激发学生学习兴趣,促进产出任务,增强学生获得感;不足之处在于,小组合作的课堂模式下,可能会出现个别学生参与积极性不高的现象。本研究不仅丰富了大学英语写作教学的理论与实践,也为未来进一步优化POA教学流程提供了有益的参考。This paper applies the POA theoretical framework to the practice of college English writing teaching in terms of driving, facilitating and evaluating. It demonstrates the teaching design and teaching process based on this theory, and also reports the teaching effects through questionnaires and student interviews. It is found that writing teaching under the guidance of this theory is more effective in stimulating students’ interest in learning, facilitating output tasks, and enhancing students’ sense of acquisition. The shortcoming lies in the fact that under the class mode of group cooperation, the phenomenon of individual students’ lack of motivation to participate may occur. This study not only enriches the theory and practice of college English writing teaching, but also provides a useful reference for further optimizing the POA teaching process in the future.
