摘　　要：非英语专业大学英语教学主要定位于阅读课,采用语法翻译法进行教学,过去、现在及将来都是可行的。传统的阅读教学侧重语言知识,这是语言能力的基础,但只能达到对语言的表层理解,语篇分析导入到大学英语教学中,使学生从以单个词语为中心的低层次阅读提升到以短语,句子乃至完整篇章为中心的高层次阅读,从而提高了学生的语言使用能力。College English teaching of non-English major was chiefly oriented toward reading teaching and employing grammar translation teaching is correct in the past,at present and in the future.Traditional reading teaching emphasized language knowledge,which is the basis of language ability.yet it can only reach the superficial understanding.Discourse analysis which centers the phrase and sentence and entire text is used in the college English teaching,which raises low level reading to high level reading.
