摘  要:为适应新形势、新要求,大学英语教学必须改变单纯传授语言知识和语言技能的教学模式,创造性地将素质教育融入到教学过程中,帮助学生在学习语言知识的同时,增强语言运用能力和交际能力,培养自主学习的能力,提高其人文素养和道德情操。这不仅是大学英语教学改革的目标,更是社会发展对高素质人才的要求。In order to meet the new situation and new demands,college English teaching should change the teaching mode which aims at simply imparting language knowledge and skills and creatively integrate all-round education into the process of college English teaching to help students,while learning the language knowledge,enhance their language and intercommunication skills,foster their selflearning ability and improve their humanistic quality and moral sentiment.It is the goal of college English pedagogical reform and furthermore is the demand of social development for high-quality talents.
