摘  要:孟子性善论的论证环节包含了两个方面:"人性有善"与"人性无恶"。人性有善即人性具有向善的趋势,说明了人性善的可能性,是对性善论的正面证成;人性无恶即将恶从人性中剥离,是对"性可以为恶"的证伪,从反面表明了"性善"的完全性。在孟子人性学说的论证中,人性善的证成与人性恶的证伪互为表里,相辅相成。这两个环节就是通过树立尧舜这一道德典范而逐渐展开的。There are two aspects in Mencius' theory of human nature: 'There is kindness in human nature';'There is no evil in human nature.' The kindness of human nature means there is a propensity toward the good,a possibility to be kind.This is the positive justification of the kindness theory.No evil in human nature excludes evils from the human nature and presents the falsification of the evil nature theory.These two aspects complement each other in his theory and in his setting Yao and Shun as the models of the moral.
