摘　　要：自主学习就是学习者自己成为学习“主人”的学习。在培养自主学习能力的过程中 ,教师应从引导学生确立自主学习的观念、培养自主性入手 ,通过大学英语教材为载体 ,给学生以“自由表述”等方式 ,并认识自身在培养自主学习能力过程中的作用。To study on one’s own is a kind of study, in which learners become owners of learning. In the process of cultivating this ablilty, teachers should guide students to foster the idea of studying on their own, cultivate their initiative, by means of the carrier of teaching materials, lead students to “express freely” and let them know their role in cultivating this ability.
