摘　　要：一段时间以来,就中国的英语教学,人们有不同的看法。一些人认为交际法不恰当,而另一些人认为传统的语法、翻译法太过时了。本方简要分析了平衡活动法产生的理论背景及其优越性。认为它克服了交际法及语法、翻译法的片面性,适用于我国的英语教学实际。它主张英语学习中习得与学习、输入与输出的平衡,从而更能提高学生的外语综合能力。For some time,people have different views of point about in China.Some think that the communicative approach is inappropriate while some others believe that the grammar-translation method is too old-fashioned.In this paper,the author mainly discusses the definition,theoretical background,and superiority of the balanced activities ap- proach.The author thinks we can achieve a balance between the different categories of,and a balance between acquisi- tion and learning.It is argued that this approach overcomes the disadvantages of other teaching methods.Therefore it is more suitable in our practice of ELT.
