摘  要:人的行为动机产生于人的需要并进而确定了自己的行为目标。对高校教师实施激励的意义 :其一 ,人的成长过程伴随着激励的过程 ,在实现了自己原来设定的目标后又不断地设定新的目标 ;其二 ,激励是努力工作的动力源泉 ;其三 ,激励能带来工作绩效的提高。而生理因素、心理因素、环境因素都会对教师积极性产生一定程度的影响。高校应为调动教师积极性创造良好的外在及内在环境 ,通过实施聘任制激发广大教师的工作热情 ,并建立严格合理的教师考核与激励制度 ,公平合理地实施奖励政策 。The motivation of human behaviors is stemmed out of the human desire and determines the goal of action. Based on this theory, the present paper deals with the significance of encouraging the faculty of higher institutions as follows:1)Personal development goes with the process of encouragement,in which one strives to reach the present goal and goes on to reset the next.2)Encouragement is a source of power for hard working.3)Incentives improve the work efficiency.Since all the physiological,psychological and environmental factors affect the activeness of the faculty more or less,good exterior and interior settings should be created to stimulate their initiative. And the enthusiam of the faculty for work ought to be inspired with the implementation of proper engagement system, strict assessment methods as well as fair and reasonable awarding policy so that the college staff can play their initiative to the utmost extent.
