摘　　要：就中小学英语教师继续教育不适应现代基础英语教育实际需要的问题 ,对目前中小学英语教师的素质状况和新英语课程标准对英语教师的素质要求进行了对比 。Given the inadequacy of the continued education programs for primary and middle school English teachers to meet the requirements of the modern fundamental English teaching,the articl makes a comparison between the existing quality status of primary and middle school teachers and the quality requirements of the teachers by the new English course criteria,and presents the training objectives of the relevant continued education programs.
