摘　　要：当前高职学生的英语作业存在许多问题,不能有效地促进英语学习。多元智能理论倡导因材施教的教学观,给学生多样化的选择,因为,每个学生都有自己的优势智能领域,有自己的学习类型和方法。因此,以多元智能理论为基础,对高职英语作业进行设计和研究,充分发挥学生的潜能,可以达到较好的英语教学效果。Nowadays,there are many problems in English homework of the students in higher vocational colleges,which cannot promote English learning effectively.The Theory of Multiple Intelligences advocates that students should be taught according to their own aptitude and should be provided with a variety of choices,for each student has his own dominant intelligence and has his own study style and method.Thus,the design and research of English homework in higher vocational colleges on the basis of Multiple Intelligences Theory can fully develop students’potentiality and achieve better English learning results.
