论大学英语翻译课堂中的不教之教——一项研究型教学实证研究

摘　　要：作为复合型翻译人才培养的起点,非英语专业翻译教学常囿于条件而难以持续深入开展。就此针对苏州科技学院90名学生进行了研究型教学实证研究,本着提高学生对翻译活动的基本认识,以及培养其从任务出发获取、甄别和利用信息的能力之目的,考察了三项可行性较高、目的性较强的翻译研究任务,初步证明,经由充分设计的研究型教学能够有效拓展学生的知识面,促进其翻译兴趣和思维能力的发展。Due to the characteristics of translation teaching and the limited resources concerned,expanding students’ encyclopedic knowledge and translation-related thinking ability is considered as a more tangible target of the translation course for non-English majors.In a one-year research-based teaching experiment among 90 candidates in Suzhou University of Science and Technology,we investigate into three highly recommendable translation-related research tasks and prove the effectiveness of such a teaching mode in cultivating non-English majors’ translation interest and ability.
