摘　　要：丹尼尔·约翰·奥康纳批判了传统哲学,认为传统哲学存在四点不足,这为其分析教育哲学思想奠定了理论基础;他用分析哲学的方法论述了语言分析的重要性,并对诸如教育、教育理论等重要概念作了深入的语言分析。奥康纳的理论在教育哲学界引起了不小的反响,同时也引起不少争议,其对传统哲学的批判有其一定的道理,对教育哲学的研究具有启发性。D.J.O'Connor criticizes the traditional philosophy,arguing that there are four weak points in it and laying down the foundation of his theory of analytic philosophy of education.He emphasizes the importance of language analysis by using the method of analytic philosophy.His theory has been very influential in the field of British philosophy of education,and also has fermented some arguments too.His critical views concerning traditional philosophy do make some sense,bearing enlightening implications for the research on the philosophy of education.
