摘　　要：铺陈乎？简约乎？———论中诗英译的风格传达赵彦春铺陈乎？简约乎？———论中诗英译的风格传达赵彦春一国有一国之文学，一域有一域之所擅。英诗长于铺陈，汉诗工于简约，英汉诗风不同归因于语言上的差异，亦有其文化渊源。在语言实体方面，英汉两种语言分属印欧语系和...hrough criticism of precedent translations,this paper advocates the practice, and probes into the feasibility, of keeping the original style when translating Chinese poetry into English rhyme in spite of the vast difference between the two languages∶one paratactic,the other hypotactic, and the two traditional poetic styles∶one terse,the other involved because style,as the author argues,is as important as the poem itself in the case of intercultural communication and interaction.
