摘　　要：阿齐兹是E.M.福斯特小说《印度之行》中一个寓意丰富而又内涵深刻的人物形象。作为英国殖民权力规训下的欲望主体,阿齐兹对自身"杂糅"的文化身份认同充满着焦虑和困惑,他对自身及印度民族——国家主体身份和文化的认同经历了一个由混沌意识到自觉认同的过程。Aziz is a figure with rich implications and profound connotations in the novel A Passage to India written by E.M.Forster.As the main desire body under the discipline of the British colonial power,Aziz is full of worries and confusions about the"hybridity"of the cultural empathy.He experiences a process from chaotic awareness to conscious recognition about himself and his country India,which refers to the national identity and cultural empathy.
