摘　　要：掐指算来,虽然自己从事中译英已历时13载,译出的文字(以中文字数计)也超过百万字,然而每每触及中译英仍觉难矣！不能轻率马虎,而应慎之！再慎之！1984年底,承接化工部外事局推荐和委托的。Through his own experience, the author expounds only when one has practised well thefundamental skill of mother tongue and foreign languages, and during translation when onehas fully understood the original and mastered necessary professional knowledge, can he dowell translation.
