摘 要:文章对中日高等理科本科专业设置进行比较,包括专业设置国家普遍情况,专业设置机制,并特别对9所公立和私立大学进行专门分析,呈现出普遍情况和大学层面细节。研究发现,日本理科专业120个,数量很多;在专业设置方面具备很大的宽窄灵活性,有大量跨学科专业,专业自主权在学校,专业目录为统计性目录,在学位授予类型上也具有多样性和灵活性。日本对专业本质的理解向美国学习,呈现为专业就是一组知识。This paper is a comparative study of the undergraduate science majors in universities of China and Japan. It focused on setting mechanism, national wide general situation of science majors and special situation of 9 well-known public and private universities. It found that Japan totally has 120 science majors, many of which are inter-disiplinary. Universities of Japan have more decision-making power on setting majors of their own, and the types of science major degree granted are more diversified and flexible. The directory of majors in Japan is stactistical directory gathered from each university. It can also be seen that Japan has learnt from US and has the same concept of major that major is only a group of curriculum or knowledge.
