摘　　要：本文在审视职前英语教师专业发展内涵和考查多模态在国内外的研究和应用基础上,阐释了多模态在教育理论课程和教育实践课程教学中,尤其是在教学设计、PPT制作、试讲和课堂管理中的应用,并探讨了多模态在教育研习,包括在观察、反思和教师话语分析中的应用。After examining the connotation of pre-service English teachers' professional development, this paper explains the research of multimodality and its application at home and abroad. Firstly, this paper illustrates the application of multimodality in the instruction of educational theory and practice, including teaching planning, PPT making, teaching practice and classroom management, and then, it discusses the application of multimodality in research-based teaching practice, including observation,reflection and teacher talk analysis.
