摘　　要：Sustainable development emphasizes the entirety, coordination and sustainable quality of development.The CGT English teaching model is a new teaching approach,which lays special stress on teacher control,group work,and text reconstruction.The model can help students to develop the five language basic skills,to foster communicative efficiency in both spoken and written modes,and to cultivate the ability to study independently.The aim of this paper is to explore the CGT English teaching model and its sustainable development.reconstruction 的简称,即控制学习、小组练习、语篇重建活动的代名词。CGT 英语教学模式强调以教师为主导,以学生为主体的教学活动,它注重学生的自主学习和课堂的积极参与。在整个教学过程中突出实际应用,通过课内课外综合训练,培养学生综合应用英语的实践能力。可持续发展强调事物发展的持续性、整体性和协调性。本文从持续发展的角度,就 CGT 英语教学模式的可行性及可持续发展性展开了论述,旨在抛砖引玉,探讨我国英语教学的最佳教学方法,从而提高我国英语教学水平,培养适应我国社会发展需要的人才。
