英汉谚语的文化差异及其翻译技巧

摘　　要：谚语是语言的精华所在。作为两种不同语言中的精华部分,英汉谚语具有独特的文化内涵,必然表现出一定的文化差异。受地理环境,历史发展,道德伦理观念,宗教信仰,社会风俗以及经济发展水平等各方面现实因素的制约,英汉谚语反映了两个国家人民各自独特的文化特征。对英汉谚语的研究,能够帮助我们减少文化差异,在交流交往过程中更好地使用这两门语言,避免出现使用错误,造成误会,更好地促进跨文化交流的实现。本文从不同方面分析了英汉谚语中的文化差异,并以实例为基础,探讨了译者在英汉谚语互译过程中,应该采用合适的翻译技巧,准确传递英汉谚语中的文化信息。Proverbs are the essence of language.As the essence of the two kinds of different part of language,English and Chinese proverbs have unique cultural connotation,inevitably show some cultural differences.Restricting by geographical environment,historical development,moral and ethical values,religious beliefs,social customs and the level of economic development and realistic factors,English and Chinese proverbs reflect the unique cultural characteristics of two countries.Study of English and Chinese proverbs,can help us reduce the cultural differences,make better use of the two languages in the communication process,to avoid the use of error,misunderstanding,to better promote the cross-cultural communication.This paper analyzes the cultural differences between English and Chinese proverbs from different aspects,and based on the examples,discusses the translator should adopt the appropriate translation skills in the process of the translation of English and Chinese proverbs,transfer the cultural information accurately in English and Chinese proverbs.
