摘　　要：委婉语作为一种语言学概念,更是一种文化现象,在跨文化交际过程中起到不可替代的重要作用。翻译本身就是一种跨文化交际行为,委婉语翻译的重要性也随着跨文化交流的增强而日益凸显。文章拟从跨文化交际的角度探讨委婉语的特点和翻译技巧,借以帮助语言学习爱好者提高跨文化交际的能力。As a linguistic concept , euphemism is also a cultural phenomenon and has played an irreplaceable important role in the inter-cultural communication process. Translation itself is a cross-cultural communicative act. The importance of euphemism translation has become increasingly prominent along with the enhancement of cross-cultural communication. This paper plans to discuss the characteris-tics and translation skills of euphemism from the perspective of intercultural communication so as to help language learning enthusiasts improve cross-cultural communication skills.
