浅谈中英基本颜色词习语的翻译

摘　　要：对中西方民族来说,颜色具有相同的视觉效果。但是,由于中英两种民族语言的文化背景存在差异,其颜色词的文化内涵不同也客观存在。在厘清颜色词习语在源文中的文化内涵和在目的语文化中的内涵的同时,选用合适的翻译方法进行翻译,以期避免在英语翻译中产生失误。The same color gives people the same visual effects.But due to the cultural diversity,both Chinese and English nations have different understanding in color idioms.In order to avoid errors in translation,this paper focuses on the understanding of the extended meanings and metaphor usages of the basic color idioms between the two cultures.
