摘　　要：《尤利西斯》以性心理描绘的大胆与细致而闻名。文章通过对小说主人公布卢姆变态性心理的展示,说明了布卢姆的受虐癖主要表现在肉体和精神两个方面,并在此基础上进一步探讨了乔伊斯描写变态性心理的作用与意义,这就是:唤起人们对性心理变态者的重视,以纠正对这个人群的种种偏见,正确对待具有变态性心理的人。The novel Ulysses is well known for its bold and minute description of sex psychology. Based on the demonstration of the abnormal sex psychology of Blooms, the hero of the novel, the essay illustrates that Blooms' masochism manifests itself both in flesh and soul. The essay further discusses about the function and implication of James Joyce's description of abnormal sex psychology: to arouse people's concern for perverts, thus to correct the prejudice towards this group of people and to treat them properly.
