摘 要:建国 5 0多年来 ,美育在中国经历了一个艰难曲折的发展过程。总结经验 ,有如下启示 :一、美育与社会文明进步密切相关 ;二、只有改变应试教育为素质教育 ,美育才会有自己真正的地位和作用 ;三、必须大力加强美育的宣传与普及工作 ;四、美育要努力为提高国民素质服务。当代中国美育虽已进入新的发展时期 ,仍存在一些问题 ,只有认清美育的本质 ,从理论上、认识上作进一步的研究 ,才能促进其健康发展 ,才能把美育真正纳入科学的轨道。In the past fifty years since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the aesthetic education underwent a hard and eventful process.The summary of the experiences offers the following ideas.First,the aesthetic education is closely connected with the progress of society and civilization.Second,only when examination-orientated education has given way to quality-orientated education can aesthetic education boast of its own status and roles.Thirdly,the publicizing of aesthetic education must be strengthened greatly.Fourth,aesthetic education must contribute to the cultivation and elevation of the quality of the people.The contemporary aesthetic education of China has entered into a new phase,but there still exist some problems.Only when the essence of aesthetic education is realized and probed further in theory and awareness can its healthy development be promoted and its being brought onto the right track be ensured.
