摘　　要：《现代电信交换》是现代信息技术迅猛发展背景下高校通信工程专业新开设的一门专业课。具有内容多、概念复杂、知识点连贯性强、部分内容比较抽象、教与学的切入点都较难把握等特点。因此,这门课的教学应讲求操作务实,要注重优秀教材的选取与扩展;要讲清关键知识点;要勤启发多比较;还要注意整体性教学的讲解顺序。对这门课良好发展的基本展望是,综合性教学手段;及时的学生学习沟通反馈;紧追技术发展前沿;拓展课程内蕴的多种素质。Modern Telecommunications Switching is a new specialized course offered in the department of communication engineering in the tertiary college.This course is characterized by substantial content,complex concepts,some abstract matter,etc.In accordance with its characteristics,we should lay stress on the choice and expansion of fine teaching materials,make the key points of knowledge clear in teaching,attach importance to enlightenment and comparison,and pay attention to the order of explanation in integral teaching.All in all,we need to keep pace with the times in the teaching of this course.
