摘　　要：翻译教学发展滞缓，其根本原因，是翻译课的定位问题。本文通过对“翻译教学”与“教学翻译”，“课程设置”与“考试大纲”两方面的分析，认为外语专业翻译课是教学翻译与翻译教学之间的过渡，既是外语教学的高级课程，也是培养翻译人才的初级课程。The fundamental cause of the under development of translation teaching is due to the problem of reorienting the translation class. Through the paper, the author analyzes and contrasts the similarities and differences in translation teaching and teaching translation, and course syllabus design and test outline. The author holds that the transition between former and latter lies in that they are both advanced courses in foreign language teaching and the primary course in training translation talents.
