田长霖的一流大学观探析

摘　　要：田长霖的一流大学观的形成 ,既受他所生活时代的影响 ,又与他本人的经历有关 ,是二者相结合的产物。田长霖认为 :一流大学应以“卓越”为先导 ,并不失其个性 ;一流大学应有一流的大师、学科和一流的学术 ;一流大学不是以本科教育的丧失为代价 ;一流大学应在社会中发挥独特的作用 ;一流大学应采取人性化的管理和多元化的筹资。田长霖的一流大学观对现阶段我国创建世界一流大学有着重要的借鉴价值。The form of Chang-lin tien's idea of a World Class university is influ enced by his era and experience, his idea being the result of their combination . The core of his ideas are as follows: World Class University should seek e xcellence with individuality, outstanding masters,disciplines, and excell en t academy.Moreover,its development should not be at the cost of undergraduate educati on.World class university should exert unique effect and should adopt human nature management and multifinancing. His idea is very precious for our country in the progress of establishing World Class Universities today.
